Welcome to the ARTIST TEACHER blog at the UNIVERSITY OF THE WEST OF SCOTLAND

The University of the West of Scotland (UWS) in partnership with Glasgow Museums and the National Society for Education in Art and Design [NSEAD] announce the launch date for its MEd Artist Teacher Programme.

This part time Master of Education Programme is part of the Artist Teacher Scheme and begins with a one day taster course at Glasgow's Kelvingrove Art and Museum on Saturday 13th March 2010. This MEd, which is unique to Scotland will run from September 2010 and will be delivered largely online.

The Artist Teacher Scheme managed by the NSEAD is an expanding programme of continuing professional development courses devised by partnerships between galleries or museums and universities to enable teachers to regain or develop their personal practice as artists in the context of the contemporary visual arts
